WHY HEIRLOOM ACCESSORIES ARE TAKING OVER
July 2026
Vintage brooches, hair barrettes, and hardware-embossed belts are the new status symbol. We break down the shift away from logos.
Quiet luxury has moved into its next phase. For the last few years it meant no logos at all, just fabric and cut. Now the finishing touch is an accent piece with an heirloom feel: vintage brooches, hair barrettes, hardware-embossed belts, metallic buttons that look inherited rather than bought last season.
The appeal is the opposite of a logo bag. A logo says you can afford the brand. A worn-in brooch or an old-money hardware belt says the piece has history, real or implied, and that reads as more expensive than a monogram ever could.
This is harder to source than a mainline handbag. A lot of what people actually want here is vintage or archive, one-off pieces rather than something sitting on a shelf at every boutique in the same city. That means real hunting, not just checking a website.
We are sourcing vintage and archive accessory pieces every week right now, brooches, barrettes, belts with the right hardware. Drop a request with what you are picturing and we will go find it.
